In her ITTT TEFL review video Kelly talks about how she found the four week in-class TEFL/TESOL course both challenging and rewarding. She speaks about how the course gave her the opportunity to teach the local students while being observed by qualified trainers who provided valuable feedback after each teaching session.
Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.
In unit 18, I learned about the modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. This unit is very tricky part of teaching. Some words are altering to a different meaning. The voice also important did not know active and passive can delivered in a different meaning. Also, I feel teachers should make lots of examples for phrasal verbs list for the non-native English speakers to understand.Unit 2 is grammar based, we start to learn about the speech. We learn about basics like nouns, adjectives and verbs.
I found it very helpful, well structured and clear. I might it even call a refresher. I am not a native speaker, so unit 2 appears very similar to my own school books.
I can imagine this Unit is going to be very useful for the actual lessons I am going to give soon.
