John is currently teaching in Seoul, South Korea in a local school and at his home. John completed the TESOL course with ITTT. In this TESOL review video, John tells us what he gained from taking the course. The knowledge he gained from the course has already helped to improve his lessons and he is getting positive feedback from his students. John runs all of his own classes and is responsible for creating and choosing the materials for his classes as well as planning the lessons. Having completed this TESOL course, John is now considering taking further courses including a TESOL diploma and possibly a master?s in TESOL.

When learning about the present simple tense, questionnaires are a great way to help students learn about how to use those in conversations and writing. This gives students the opportunity to speak about their habits. When learning about the present continuous tense, it's encouraged to tell stories and provide students with graphs or charts to describe the change they're seeing.The qualities of the teacher and learner are both important. If one or the other or both are unmotivated, then success is very difficult. The teacher needs to consider the level, age, and motivation of the learner when deciding how best to teach. Students have different strength and weaknesses, and tailoring to those when you can can be very rewarding for the student's progress.
