Over the course of this unit, I refreshed myself on some of the basics of classroom management. I reminded myself about the basics of building a rapport. I learned a little bit more about teaching talk time that I didn't necessarily know before. I learned quite a bit about classroom shapes and classroom set-ups that I knew but never really explored the advantages of each type.This was a bit challenging to watch, at least the first video was. It's painful to see such terrible teaching. The second video was a relief to watch. I'm glad the teacher was able to turn it around and actually provide a practical, fun, and engaging lesson for his students. I'm not sure why both videos are 25-30 minutes. It definitely seems like the videos could be condensed.
