What to Consider When Curating the Best Possible Course Experience - TEFL Blog
Elizaveta Pachina
Teaching Ideas
The overall "course experience" or a critique of daily experiences are too often considered only during course evaluations or in response to vocalized dissatisfaction. As an English teacher (or any teacher) it is your responsibility to craft, adjust, and/or carry-out a course experience that will be the most effective and enjoyable one possible. To do so requires that you give broad thought to your audience, schedule, and how you show up in the course.

Three Strategies For Teachers to Work on Confidence - TEFL Blog
Elizaveta Pachina
Teaching Ideas
One of the most important traits a teacher can bring into the classroom is confidence. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary Confidence is "a feeling or consciousness of one's powers or reliance on one's circumstances" and " faith or belief that one will act in a right, the proper, or efficient way". When a teacher is confident in the classroom it will help create a more relaxed and trusting environment.

Strategy Two: Preparation
Strategy Three: Feedback

The 3 Most Important Tricks When Teaching English to Kindergarteners - TEFL Blog
Linda Dunsmore
Alumni Experiences Teaching Ideas
Walking into a kindergarten classroom in any language may have most teachers running right back out the door. A kindergarten classroom can be like a circus. The teacher is the ringmaster. The students range from man-eating lions to trapeze artists to clowns. It's important to remember that kindergarten students do not understand they are meant to be learning great truths and skills that will set them up for the rest of their life. They want to play, love, be loved, and enjoy every aspect of life to the fullest, even when they are sitting in the classroom. Even the physical excitement that kindergarteners have can be used to create an even deeper understanding of language and should never be seen as bad. Children love to explore and learn.... Teaching English online has been a great experience for me. For the past two years, I have been able to provide English lessons to Chinese students between the ages of 4 and 14 through a platform called VIPKID. It is a platform that allows Chinese parents to partner their Children with North American English teachers via the Internet. The platform provides all of the lesson materials that are easy to follow after training and participating in workshops with more knowledgeable teachers. It is an impressive platform that has positively impacted my teaching experience.

TEFL Nicaragua - ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ Efl Teaching Positions In Nicaragua 1
Date posted:2008-03-17 | Writer: Granada English College | Email: [email protected]
Positions available throughout the year. We currently have 110 students and are adding about 15 new students per month. We plan to grow the school to 200 students. We provided a 12 week EFL program for 24 Tourist Police officers as part of a tourist safety program sponsored by a foreign embassy.
We almost exclusively hire EFL teachers who are visiting or living in Granada, and who are between the ages of 20 and 45. We do hire some exceptional teachers over the Internet. We are very flexible with our qualification and experience requirements if we observe a teacher doing well teaching our students.

How much money can you make teaching English abroad? - ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ TEFL FAQs
There are many different reasons why people choose to teach English abroad and the chance to earn good money is certainly one of them. How much you can realistically expect to earn is largely dependent on where in the world you choose to teach. The highest salaries are generally found in the Middle East and East Asia regions where teachers can typically live well and still save a considerable sum each month. In Europe and Latin America it is harder to save money, but you should still earn enough to live comfortably.
