Littera Education is based in the USA. They teach English, Math and other subjects to kids and teenagers from kindergarten to grade 12. They are looking for American tutors only. A university degree is not required but they want tutors with experience. They pay $18 USD per hour and up to $22 per hour for algebra teachers. Littera partners with districts to implement high-impact tutoring programs to achieve positive student outcomes. We hire, train, and support virtual tutors all over the United States that work consistently with students to reach their academic goals Why Work for Littera? Work Remotely – anywhere in the USA Part-time W-2 Flexible work-schedules Access to Tutor Managers & Support Center Pre-planned Lessons Paid Training Requirements: Must be 18 years of age and reside in one of the US-eligible states. TEFL/TESOL certificate preferred. Consistently availability throughout the semester is required. Littera provides lessons to tutors with little to no prep time. An administrative payment will be included for every 1 hour of sessions successfully completed tutors will receive 15 minutes (.25 of an hour) of administrative time. The administrative payment is in consideration a variety of items such as opening curriculum portals and locating the starting point, briefly reviewing session content, providing post-session feedback after the session, reading the weekly tutor newsletter, support ticket communications (if needed), Tutor Manager office hours and reviewing emails from the Littera team.
