Smooth Talkers is an institute that offers individual and group classes to companies and private students, as well as children group classes.
We are looking for committed and experienced native English teachers to work with us remotely. Teachers who enjoy working and teaching with a positive attitude. We are mainly recruiting teachers who are available to teach online and that are currently living in North, Central or South America. Yet it’s not limited to these regions.
Full-time who offer their availability morning through evening (Chilean time) and take up to 25 hours per week, and part-time teachers who can take up to 12 hours per week, of course if you want to take more classes and you are available, it would be great!
The average salary of full-time teachers is between $900 USD - $1.300 USD. The minimum payment is $14 USD per hour, the peak hours needed to be covered are:
Mornings: 8:00 to 10:00am
Lunchtime: 1:00 to 3:00pm
Evenings: 5:00 to 8:00pm
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Ability to teach adults and children whose first or main language is not English
Small group (up to 8 students) or individual class management
Planning, preparing and delivering lessons
Providing appropriate feedback
Basic administration tasks (attendance records)
Key Competencies:
Native speaker
Minimum of 6-month teaching experience and/or certificate
Experience teaching online
Good internet connection
Motivated and reliable
Energetic
Good communicator
Good listener
High grammar knowledge
