Corporate Training Solutions is seeking native English speaking TEFL qualified English Language Teachers in Vung Tau for both full and part-time positions. Experience teaching in-company English programmes would be an asset. We have regular opportunities for daytime and evening work throughout the year and pay a sensible hourly rate.

Unit 13 covered teaching pronunciation and phonology. For me personally this was the most interesting reading of the course so far. I found the mouth diagrams most interesting. I examined and experienced for the first time how each sound is produced and what group of phonemes they belong to. The techniques to help and improve pronunciation I read about here are already proved to be useful in the classroom.Written English does not give us a lot of information intonation and pronunciation. Very often, in fact, the way words are written is misleading. This is something students must understand and become familiar. Other languages, like Thai for example, give readers very specific instructions concerning intonation and pronunciation. New learners have to understand intonation is related to intention in English.
