English teachers required for a high profile language school in central Hanoi beginning in July 2006. Minimum 1 yr. contract. These positions will mainly be teaching children and teens in small group classes. A Bachelor Degree in Education, English or Linguistics is preferred but other degrees will be considered. A recognized TESOL certificate is also required. Teachers will receive $13-$17US per hour depending on their qualifications and are expected to work 25-30 hours per week. Teachers will also receive subsidized accommodation and the free use of a bicycle or motorbike in Hanoi. This is an excellent salary for Vietnam and you can save money since the cost of living is very low. Performance bonuses and return airfare are paid upon successful completion of a 1 yr. contract.
