Different activities will not only keep a class active and interesting, but will also provide students with a wide-range of circumstances in which English must be used in different ways. Drilling students in the pronunciation is an example of a good activity It will help to develop students’ confidence. Giving students an abundant practice before moving on to an activity that requires more free-thinking production. The fourth unit of this course looks at effective ways of designing, adapting, and using various types of classroom materials in a business English environment. I benefited from the topics covered, such as lesson planning, book resources and how to utilise the internet to improve lessons. This unit also highlighted the difference between authentic and non-authentic materials and provided a webliography for sourcing my material.
