Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.
This unit introduces the first and most basic of the three tenses, the present tense, and its four aspects. It goes into some detail about the forms and usages of each aspect of the tense, and suggests many ideas for teaching students this rather complex and sometimes difficult part of the English language. As I expect to be teaching in Asian countries, this is likely to be one of the most challenging areas to tackle as a teacher. In this lesson it was easy for me to understand, once I realized there was a video link. Where as in the other lessons I had not been using the videos. I now know to access these videos to better help me in the completion of my tests, and therefore my scores should improve. I have been teaching now for several months I do believe I am like the teacher in the second video, which has made my students more interactive in my classes.
