Micropower Career Institute, Manhattan campus in Chelsea, is hiring part-time EFL instructors to teach 2-5 days a week, weekdays and/or weekends. Candidates should be fluent in English and be at least a BA graduate with English Language teaching experience+ ESL/TEFL certificate.You must be able to teach adult students in an international atmosphere with highly interpersonal skills. We expect you to teach independently, energetically and dynamically to engage students of all levels in grammar, idiomatic expressions, reading comprehension, speaking opportunities to reach clear learning objectives.
Responsibilities: preparing and teaching classes according to the curriculum, assessing students, keeping attendance and academic records.
Starting salary: $15/hour, commensurate with experience
