Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I did understand the theories mentioned in this course and it made me think which one is 100% correct. Maybe none, that is why they remained as theories only. regarding the seating arrangement, I think the semi-circular would be best for young learners. There will be teacher and classmate interaction with this arrangement. I believe that teaching young learners is actually more difficult that teaching adults.Student participation is really influenced by teacher demeanor and spoken and unspoken body language and communication. Speaking too quickly and assuming that all the answers are \"easy\" to answer sets the stage for intimidation and is not conducive to classroom participatory activities. The teacher must learn the names of the students, not be afraid to point as them and ask questions individually of them.
