ILT are currently looking to hire two native level EFL teachers for our ILT camp (International Leadership Training), a three week Korean Children's Camp taking place at Honor's Haven Resort & Spa in upstate New York (Catskills area). Our camp will have 40 Korean students aged between 10 and 15years old, and focuses on the development of culture, leadership, teambuilding, academic knowledge, and the strength of the body & mind. The program includes language studies, sports activities, field trips and group projects.
BENEFITS:
Room (double occupancy) & all daily meals will be provided for all staff and teachers + salary compensation.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid TESOL, TEFL or equivalent ESL certificate
• Experience teaching 10yr to 15yr old students ( Especially Asian Kids )
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR ESL TEACHER:
- Teach daily scheduled ESL classes. Approx. 2 per day (2 hours per class)
- Participate in checking of daily student diaries
- Attend daily teachers meetings
- Attend fieldtrips as needed
- Participate as judge in student presentations
- Evaluate students once a week
- Administer speaking tests at start and end of camp
Date of Employment: 1/6/2020 (Mon) – 1/27/2020 (Mon): 3 Weeks
Teachers are expected to arrive on-site at least 2 days prior to the start of the camp (1/4/2020) for orientation and may check out by 1/28/2020.
