In this unit we studied the different methods a teacher has in order to asses their students progress and see what areas need improvement. This also helps the teacher to realize what elements should be integrated into the lessons in order for them to have a positive impact on the students.
This unit was enlightening for me because I didn't knew there were so many different methods of evaluation and tests.This unit is all about tests and evaluations. That includes progress tests, diagnostic tests, placement tests, practice tests, and external tests. External tests are often important for some students in order for them to immigrate or attend university overseas. In class we can use diagnostic tests to evaluate new students and progress tests to see how all the students are coming along with the material.
