Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit gave me a better understanding of the practical side of teaching in and out of a classroom. It covered the various groups of students you may encounter and how to go about dealing with them in a classroom setting. It gave many great tips on how to handle various situations which may arise and it also covered more characteristics that a teacher should possess in order to teach effectively. This unit was really useful to be able to see the difference the attitude of the teacher has on the students. It was also really good to see the structure of the lesson and hoe to engage the students at all times and keep them interested. I learnt different techniques that I could use to keep students interested and engaged at all times, and how to build rapport with the students from the beginning
