Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This lesson taught me a variety of methods and techniques to use in a classroom. I understand different types of methodologies, how to use them and their weak and strong points. It also provided me with tools and examples of how to conduct a class, what exercises to use, how to use them and when to use them; the correct method of interacting with students, form teaching to correcting and how to make a lesson fun.Reading this section, one of the main things that stood out to me was this idea that we need to do more than just translation of words, that we cannot just take a language that we know and simply translate the words one by one and still capture the same meaning. It is a whole new language and in order to learn all that it has to offer, we need to make sure that we are working to emerse students into the language.
