Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Through this lesson I learned it is important to have a clear plan for your class. The more you plan out and have prepared the smoother your class will go and the more they will enjoy the lesson. It is also good to use a variety of materials this will help keep the kids engaged and interested in the lesson. You should always start with an engage but during that time you should not be teaching new material. In this module, I appreciated the information regarding interaction, both the hurdles students need to overcome and the techniques that will help them feel safe to speak up. I also found the section on writing very interesting. I hadn't thought about the difficulty some could face have different alphabets and punctuation. I love using games in the classroom and this module listed many good ones to utilize.
