While we are looking for more teachers for all the different age groups, this year we plan to increase the hours of English in our Nursery Schools so preference will be given to applicants with qualifications for / experience in teaching 4-6yr olds.

Candidates should have
A B.A. in English /ESL/EFL , Teaching Certificate (1yr) or A B.Ed. majoring in English A minimum of 2 years TEFL experience.
Teachers are expected to be part and parcel of the English department, working with Turkish and expatriate colleagues - teamwork is very important. We expect our teachers to be professionals, willing to adapt to a new culture They should be mature and full of energy. Teachers are responsible for following the curriculum provided, using the selected books and preparing their own extra materials, homework, tests and exams. There are, of course, departmental and occasional parents� meetings at which teachers are expected to be present.

Salaries depend on qualifications and years of experience. Contracts are for 1 year, usually 1st Sept. - 31st Aug., to be renewed on satisfaction of both parties.
