Do you enjoy working with others to collaboratively come up with solutions to difficult problems? Mathus Language Academy is looking for EFL teachers to start ASAP for a one-year contract. We are the most well-known language school in Suratthani, with an excellent reputation which we work hard to maintain.
WE OFFER:
• Starting salary of 33,000 THB. Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
• 15,000 THB end-of-contract bonus.
• Accident insurance - from a private provider (AXA insurance plan 1) and access to social insurance.
• Work permits and visas - no funny business or visa runs here. We're legit.
• Housing stipend of 3000 baht per month.
• No more than 22 teaching hours per week.
• WiFi is available throughout the entire school meaning your lessons can include awesome videos with pen pals from around the world or even live Skype video calls.
• No required office hours, however collaboration with the team is always great.
• Weekly Thai Language classes.
• Optional 'Family dinner' with P’Nong and The Doctor (aka the owners aka your new Thai parents) on Sundays.
• Assistance finding housing.
WE REQUIRE:
• Native level English speakers with University degrees. TEFL qualifications are a definite advantage.
• Experience working with children in some capacity, or at the very least, a very strong desire to work with children.
• Working laptop to use for lesson planning and in-classroom activities (videos, PowerPoint, games, etc.).
