Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was about how to deal with common problems a teacher may face. What I learned from it is what to do and not to do on the first lesson with a new class. I also learned how to deal with large classes and classes with different English levels. Finally I learned a few new ways to encourage students to use English instead of their native language and new ways to encourage students to participate more. From this unit ,I learn one thing that's very important for teachers. That's teacher's attitude towards class. We should be energetic , professional and nice all the time ,therefore we can let more students be highly engaged in the activity part and the class be presented effectively. And we should prepare enough materials before the class. Some pictures are very useful for students to understand new words.
