Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this twelfth unit, we learned about speaking and writing. Just like with unit 11, I thought this was an enjoyable unit because it focuses on the important skills of speaking and writing. I feel that after reading both units now and completing the tasks, which I also felt were engaging in unit 12, I have a better understanding of how I can channel the information learned and use it in my teaching so that the students can benefit. This module was helpful in introducing the teaching of special groups and alternative motivations and issues of students together with possible alternative approaches that the teacher can take to adapt to the special needs of the group. Many of the issues are basically common sense when considered, however, the section is helpful in assisting the teacher to consider and then address key additional challenges of such special groups.
