This unit covered conditionals and reporting. Conditionals are phrases that use \"if, may, would, should, might, etc\". These are ranked by meaning and structure, from zero conditional which references hard facts, to third conditional which is strictly hypothetical. There is also a mixed conditional. The unit goes on to describe reporting, which is simply the restating of information in a logical and grammatically correct sense.I never gave much thought to using the present simple to express things in the future. In addition, I would have intermixed future simple and going to future tenses without a second thought or differentiating meaning between the two of them. I have just always used them interchangeably for the most part with the exception of using future simple to sound more adamant about a decision which is in direct contrast from this lesson.
