Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit examined different teaching techniques that can be used to best manage and teach specific groups of English language learners. More particularly we looked at how best to adapt to students who need one on one teaching, young english learners and adult business learners. Business english learners tend to have a shorter time during which they can focus because usually they will have worked before coming to class.Unit 10 was the most informative and productive. As a teacher, I learned more by visualizing the practices used by the teacher as well as what to do versus not what to do. A teacher who engages the students using their names, using a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, will get the students more engaged, and therefore more production. that is why Lesson 2 was the way to go as far as a successful teacher should incorporate.
