The most interesting part of this unit, was the tips on how to find a job; where to go; and where not to go. I also liked the fact that we learned to be careful when approaching a new culture. There are culture differences that need to be addressed correctly not to offend or insult local from the country where you are. I learnt various strategies for creating the right type of learning environment including grouping of students, personal behaviours, and disciplinary action. Most notable was the delicate balance required between teacher talking time and student talking time.
