The International School of Phuket (ISP) is one of the few accredited Cambridge International Schools in Phuket and the only one in Rawai, one of the island's most family-friendly areas. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Headteacher to join our team. The Headteacher at ISP is responsible for organising the educational process, implementing curricula, ensuring the quality of teaching, monitoring student progress and attendance, managing teacher workload, organising methodological work, preparing class schedules, and reporting on the state of education and behavioural aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the overall operation of the teaching staff
* Ensure the effective delivery of the Cambridge curriculum
* Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and eco-focused programs
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
* Foster a positive and inclusive school culture
* Provide professional development and support for staff
* Engage with parents and the wider community to promote the school and its values
* Monitor and evaluate educational outcomes to ensure continuous improvement
Requirements:
* Native English speakers from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a related field.
* TEFL/TESOL certificate or diploma preferred.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in education, including leadership roles in primary and/or secondary education.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A commitment to the highest standards of teaching and learning
* Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

* Standard 8-hour workday from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM and a 40-hour workweek from Monday to Friday
