Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In the videos, the two different styles are really recognizable and problems can be seen clearly especially in the first video. In fact, it was quite useful to understand the problems and try to avoid them later. It is very important for the teachers to be aware of these problems and try to teach in an effective manner and make the students interested in the process of learning a new language. This unit is about effective teaching methods. It allows the future teacher to create successful lesson plans, and teaches how to keep the students attention. The information provided in this unit displays how teachers should and should not correct students, and provides ideas for effective lessons. It focuses mainly on the ESA teaching method, and provides a good template for teachers to use.
