Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit built further upon what has so far been covered with regards to tenses (and grammar), compounding our current technical understanding of present tense variations by extrapolating it into the future tense. I found it - if tricky at first - ultimately helpful for honing my attention to how much the details matter when dissecting and analyzing forms/ structures for how they achieve meaning/ function. This unit taught me how to properly structure a lesson and what I should include within each stage of that lesson. Using the concrete examples provided in this unit as reference, I was able to see for the first time, a lesson that would be beneficial for children. I have no experience teaching prior to this, and this has thus far been the most useful lesson, and will be a lesson that i return to frequently.
