Who are we looking for? Native speaker with university degree. Patient and enthusiastic. Experience teaching adults a plus.

Why should you choose Taiwan? Taiwan is a fascinating mix of the modern and traditional. It's a good place to learn Chinese and experience Chinese culture. The weather is warm, the people friendly, and the cost of living is low.

Why should you choose Chiayi? Chiayi is a mid-size city in the south-west of Taiwan. It's close to the sea and Taiwan's most beautiful mountain scenery. Food and housing are cheaper than in the other main cities. People are very friendly to foreigners.

Why should you choose David's English Center? David's English Center is an adults English Center in Taiwan. There are 15 branches in total. All the students must be above 15 years of age and pass a placement test to join a suitable class. The class size is about 8 to 15 people. Foreign teachers are responsible for the intermediate and advanced classes.

This lesson was very valuable to me in how it clearly separated the way in which you must speak directly and indirectly. The reported speech for the present and past tenses described in this unit are clearly important in speaking correctly. It is good to understand the fundamentals of creating and formulating reported speech. This is extremely important when teaching so your students can communicate effectively in the real world.I was surprised at how writing and speaking are dealt completely separately in lessons here. They can be paired together for accuracy and fluency in the planning stages and then separated in the final product. The actual preformed dialogue would not need to match the written so that there is some give but there has been quite a bit of planning like in the example lesson. Meanwhile, the planned script can be polished for accuracy.
