Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

During this module I learned off the difficulties that can be faced teaching business English to adult students. These problems can be because of teaching one to one with an individual students, or teaching a group of students. They each have their advantages and disadvantages, and through this module I discovered how to deal with these issues. I also learned about the different approaches to teaching that people subscribe to.In this Unit, I learned about Teaching Pronunciation and Phonology * How to Understand key terms and concepts in phonology and phonetics * Become aware of current issues and debates in research and apply these to pronunciation teaching, particularly in different contexts. * Conduct phonological analysis of learner language, including phonemic transcription * Diagnose and assess learner's pronunciation difficulties and needs
