* Co-teach day-time kindergarten and elementary classes. Plan and implement lessons designed around thematic units (i.e., food, Christmas, transportation, sea creatures). The environment is supportive, with lots of manipulatives, materials, and crafts supplies. The themes are set, but youí¬¬ have plenty of opportunities to exercise your creativity! This is a full-time contract position for the 2004-2005 school year. Working hours are from 8:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, with a 1-1/ 2 hour lunch break. Salary range is NT $53, 000 to NT $67, 000 (approximately $1, 970 US) per month. Other salary benefits include semester, end-of-contract, and resign bonuses. Housing and utilities are provided, with a monthly maintenance fee of NT $3, 500 to $5, 500 (depending on room size). Free internet access, paid holidays and vacation (2 weeks Lunar New Year), and others. Start date: Immediately.
* Teach immersion and elementary classes. Fully developed curriculum with lots of support and materials. This is a full-time contract for the 2004-2005 school year. Salary range is NT $53, 000 to NT $60, 000. Working hours are either from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Hours include time for classroom preparation, breaks, and a dinner break. Other salary benefits include semester, end-of-contract, and resign bonuses. Housing and utilities are provided, with a monthly m a intenance fee of NT $3, 500 to $5, 500 (depending on room size). Free internet access, paid holidays and vacation (2 weeks Lunar New Year), and others. Start date: August 30.
