Aspirations International Academy is looking for 2 TEFL qualified teachers. We are a higher education institute based in Colombo Sri Lanka. In addition to some higher education programmes, we operate a language training arm where we primarily cater to four main categories - English for Kids, General Conversational English, IELTS, Business English programmes for corporate clients. We have operated this language training arm since December 2011 and we have catered to over 200 students who came for lessons at our study centre and over 300 participants who are employees of our corporate clients. The two facilitators (South Africans)are completing their contract in the mid of December and therefore we are in need of recruiting replacements.
We are looking for teachers who have completed their TEFL studies and has one year or more experience in teaching. Having a Bachelors degree in any discipline is not a must but an added advantage.
Working hours is 40 hours per week. The duration of the contract is one year extendable upon the mutual agreement. Pay ranges from USD 800 to USD 1100 per month. Accommodation is provided free of charge in an apartment which is 10 minute walk from the study centre.
