TEFL in Tarragona, Spain

This unit focused on the productive skills of speaking and writing along with some of the challenges teachers and students face and solutions to said challenges. I teach in Japan which has a very nonvocal culture where people don't really give their opinions or speak openly and I see that a lot in the classroom with a lot of students who are reluctant to speak. So I'm eager to try some of the suggestions given in this unit.Unit three focused on various theories, methods and techniques when it comes to teaching english as a foreign language. It is important to be knowledgeable of the different techniques and methods for teaching english. I learned some new methods for making corrections to students learning. Also the various ways of Engaging students, having them study and activate their learning was very interesting and useful to read about.
