Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I this unit I learned that selecting vocabulary is important. Selecting which words to teach will depend on appropriacy to students/tasks, how often students are likely to use/come across the language and can it be applied to different situations. Beginner students need clear and visual language. Remembering the ESA stages are very helpful in teaching vocabulary, presenting and practising language structures and grammar. In this unit, conditionals and report speech are covered, which can be extremely confusing for not only the English language learner, but a native English speaker, as well. Native English speakers often make errors too when it comes to these forms. Although they can be understood, it is important for teachers to use the correct forms. While regionally some things are said incorrectly but are generally credited as \"okay\
