Learning this material was a very interesting process to me as here it was explained how to introduce new vocabulary items and grammar structures as well as how to teach language functions. I found it extremely valuable to learn about the criteria to use when choosing new vocabulary items. The idea to use role-play during the Activate stage to practice language functions is immensely helpful and I will definitely apply it in my lessons.This unit talked about how to make and the importance of lesson plans. this is very important because we know that if you don't make plans then you plan to fail. I have learned that lesson plan serves as a working document,record and to help logically deliver the lesson. It should contain the teacher's name, date,expected number of student,anticipated problems for teacher and students as well as solutions,stages, procedures, timing etc.
