From this unit I have learnt that there are four things that students need to do with new language; be exposed to it, understand it's meaning, understand how it's constructed and be able to practice and pronounce it. It's the teachers job to ensure that these four objectives are met. To achieve this teachers must structure their lessons with an engage, study and activate phase, and know the fundamentals for each phase.All these various options for me offer variety and flexibility depending on the ideas and purpose of the teacher. Not so much to remember the forms, but to solicit engagement and interest from the students. The personality and age of the teacher would play a part, regarding the usage and specific use of the list of activities. But all such information is to be gleaned and used according to the abilities of the teacher.
