URGENTLY REQUIRED. QUALIFIED EXPERIENCED EFL TEACHERS FOR MAINLY ADULT GENERAL ENGLISH AND SMALL GROUP COMPANY CLASSES. DEGREE + CELTA OR SIMILAR. Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

 

Unit 10 provides two sample lessons by the same instructor showing one high quality lesson and one low quality lesson. The biggest takeaway from this unit is that the instructor's attitude makes a much larger impact on student learning than I previously believed. With an understanding and engaged instructor students are more likely to participate in the lesson versus an instructor that is distant, overbearing, and strict.the module is well layed and make the need for orderly teaching of vocabulary, grammar and language functions easy to assimilate. In most cases teachers do not see the need to explicitly teach vocabulary on the premise that children just pick up vocabulary as they read books or speak with affluent native speakers. I appreciate the deliberate structure of teaching vocabulary and its importance cane never be overemphasized.
