I watched the videos a little earlier than this unit, so I re-watched them. After watching the first demonstration class I thought I had signed up with the wrong company to do my TEFL course. What a relief when watching the second video and realizing that it was fake. It was a wonderful demonstration of correct and incorrect teacher attitude and behavior. I found it very helpful to actually see it in practice.I found this unit very didactic and clear on the different teaching methodologies and techniques. I learnt that their efficiency will depend on how these different techniques are applied, considering the cultural context, age, group dynamics, and the teacher´s input. It is very important to constantly encourage students generating a positive and comfortable environment for the learning process to be effective.
