Korean Horizons have current opportunities for TEFL certified teachers in Public Schools in Chungnam and Gyungnam, South Korea. All contracts are for 1 full year. There would only be 22 classes per week. 1 middle or high school class would be 45 & 50 minutes each respectively. Hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. No weekends or split shifts.

Salary is in accordance with the government's pay scale and range between 2.0m-2.95m won per month.

Overtime in afterschool classes is often available to boost your salary.

In addition – the benefits are as follows:

• 300,000 won one-time settlement allowance

• 18 working days paid vacation + national holidays (5 weeks in total)

Part of this unit greatly reflected information learned in Unit 3. I appreciated taking the ESA structures that I had come to understand previously and apply them to certain areas of teaching. This unit helped me realize that teachers don't just need to find the ESA structure that suits their style, but that different ESA structures may be more suitable depending on what area is being taught.There are many forms of testing students, whether formally or informally. I remember how uncomfortable I was with test taking and I would like to create an atmosphere that allows students to build their daily use of English, as well as test-taking abilities. As a teacher, there are countless responsibilities that need to be stressed and evaluated when teaching a room full of curious students.
