Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covered the practice of communicating with the how words are said, rather than word choice. It describes the differences between stress and intonation, the phonemic alphabet, and what body parts are employed in pronounciation. This is, by far, the most difficult subject I have encountered, because I have never thought about it as a native speaker. Unfortunately, I was never taught it when I went to DLIFLC.This unit was more complex and difficult than the first one. The knowledge of grammar is certainly important for a teacher, however I felt it was too detailed and some of the information redundant. However, I am happy the work is done, and am proud for learning something new. Thank you for the course. I really enjoy the fact that units are relatively short and can be completed within a day. This motivates to move on.
