Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit outlines the good qualities of teachers and students, the levels of language acquisition, motivations of and differences between types of students, and the roles of a teacher in a class setting. This lesson prepares the teacher for potential cultural hurdles. Finally, this lesson introduces the teacher to the subtleties and delicate natures of the tools of the trade. For example, a teacher must not over-correct.unit 2 parts of speech, touches on basic sentences and breaks them down and explains exactly what each word is doing and how and why it makes sense to be there. I believe that understanding these basic rules and why types of words are used with others it is a lot easier for somebody learning English to understand why some words work with others and why some don't leaving little room for error both verbally and by writing.
