Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit shows what means to be a good teacher and a good learner, very specifically describing the qualities, roles and responsibilities of both.I have learnt the roles of a teacher. If I want to be an affective teacher I should be able to take appropriate roles during the lesson. It was very helpful to know that a teacher should care not only about teaching, but even more about the learning of the students. The videos in this unit allowed me to observe two lessons and have a clear understanding of the attitude the teacher needs to have towards his/her students in order to make them feel comfortable and encourage them to participate. It was interesting to detect all the mistakes made in the first lesson based on the content learnt in the previous units and my previous experience as a teacher and as a student.
