Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 6 covered the past tense with its four aspects, past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. We learnt how each aspect is constructed, in the affirmative, negative and question forms. We got examples of how to use each form. We looked at several mistakes and errors that students make and ways to correct them. We got ideas that can be used for the activate stages of the lessons.I found this lesson to be interesting. It provided me with the knowledge to be more creative in my ability to teach another language by using pictures and puzzles. I am realizing that you have to make learning fun in order to keep the attention of the students. I feel that role playing is a good way to have everyone involved and to allow them to feel more comfortable with each other in a classroom setting.
