Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This section was easier to grasp compared to the present tense unit. The rules (even though the closely follow the present tense rules) somehow were clearer for me. I enjoyed revisiting the different tenses of past tense including past simple, past continuous and past perfect. I do have to confess, it is on a rare occasion that I personally use past perfect continuous form and see little use for it for beginner or elementary students.Contrary to popular belief, it is not true that you have to be an extrovert to be a good teacher in the classroom. Some good teachers are very low-key, while other teachers, both lively and amusing, are regarded as nothing more than entertainers. You will find your own style of teaching through practice in the classroom. However, for a class to be able to learn effectively the teacher must be able to inspire confidence in the students.
