Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was so informative about why listening and reading are very important in learning a new language, as well as how well students can improve them depending on the effectiveness of the teaching methods. Like everything else, it seems that excessively easy materials cannot be of help, but at the same time, if the material is too difficult, students will not learn from it. The material needs to be challenging and achievable.Teaching a new language involves been exposed to it, understanding its meaning and construction, then importantly been able to practice it. Using this philosophy it assists a teacher knowing how to plan lessons while teaching newly exposed students to the English language. This unit has assisted with knowing how to implement a lesson plan while teaching at a pace that is not too slow or fast for students newly exposed to English.
