Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit goes over some of the resources and materials that may be available to teachers in the classroom. Depending on the school or center, the newest technology may not be available. Therefore teachers should be familiar with all levels and make sure everything they are using works before their lessons. It is also important to have informational texts, worksheets, and other materials that compliment and supplement the lessons. This lesson taught about the importance of teaching receptive skills Reading and listening. Both skills are hugely important for students as reading and listening in a language is vital to their fluency. They can now go to another country and know how to read and listen in that culture. It is gave a break down of the purpose for reading and listening. It gave us task sheets and with real examples of how to teach the topic as well.
