If you are a lethargic closed-minded couch-potato who is afraid of travelling, click somewhere else. Intensity School of English is looking for extraordinary candidates interested not only in teaching English in Poland, but also in broadening their horizons and developing themselves. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or a TEFL/TESL/TESOL/CELTA certificate. Of course it helps to have teaching experience, but it is not essential. What's more important is that you are a confident, dynamic and sociable individual.

We are currently recruiting for positions starting in October 2010 and finishing on June 30th 2011. Both EU as well as non-EU citizens are welcome to apply.

Why teach abroad? Teaching abroad is a unique way to travel and make money at the same time. And not travelling in the shallow, tour group, "see-it-all-as-quickly-as-possible" sort of way. Travelling in the true sense of the word: living in a completely different country, immersing yourself in a new culture and language and building lasting friendships with inhabitants of that country.

Why choose Poland? Strategically located in the heart of Central Europe, Poland is a country of rich history, fascinating culture and untouched natural beauty. It has undergone rapid change in the last two decades, and is now enjoying the beginning of a new era as a member of the European Union. It is an exciting time to be here and experience first-hand Poland's future unfolding. Polish hospitality is world-renowned - the Poles are as friendly as they are proud: always more than happy to show off their country to foreigners. And rightly proud they are - there's much to see and do.

Why choose Intensity? Our school is located in the city of Rybnik, in the Silesian province of southern Poland. Our location serves as the perfect hub from which you can base your travels. Famous capital cities such as Warsaw, Prague, Vienna, Budapest and Bratislava are easily accessible and can be reached within about 4-5 hours. If you're interested in skiing or hiking, the ski resorts in the Beskidy mountains are only an hour away! And of course Krakow, Poland's cultural capital, can be reached in about an hour and a half. Public transport in Poland is reliable and relatively inexpensive.

Intensity is one of only a handful of schools in Poland owned and operated by native speakers of English and employing only native speakers of English. This means that there is a unique relationship between the management of the school and its teachers of openness, respect and complete understanding - we are able to empathize with our teachers. Our policy of "happy teachers produce excellent lessons" is one that has made our school a success. We teach mainly adult students who need English for their professional and personal use. The relaxed and lively classroom atmosphere that we create is highly appreciated by our students and encourages communication.

Every year, we assemble the best possible team of teachers, and ensure that our students are exposed to a diverse range of talents and accents, whether they may be American, British, Canadian, Australian or South African. Our team is always well-balanced, with each teacher bringing his or her own unique character to the mix.

We offer: - Outstandingly competitive rates of pay The salary we offer is more than enough to live comfortably in Poland (where the cost of living is much cheaper than in Western Europe) and of course to travel as you wish and enjoy Polish shops and nightlife.

- Allocated accommodation - Guaranteed minimum weekly workload - Full assistance in obtaining visas and work permits - Free in-house teacher training package (both on-arrival and ongoing) - Friendly working environment in a young, dynamic team - Help settling in and ongoing support with personal, day to day problems - Medical support - Free Polish lessons - Free Internet access - Airport pick-up

So, if you think you have that something special that puts you above the rest, don't waste any time. E-mail your CV (resume) and cover letter, together with a recent photo to the address given on the job heading.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit i learnt about modals, phrasal verbs and the passive voice. I learnt that some modals can be used interchangeable like may and can however, one tends to be more polite.I Also learnt that there are three main types of phrasal verbs and that the relative clause can be broken down into three categories. Lastly that there are two main voices used in the English language the active and the passive. This unit of future tense was so fruitful for me cause now I better comprehend the future tenses and I strongly believe that this will help me in the near future as well. The future tense it is very crucial if you are trying to become an English teacher and for this is reason I see the unit 8 very fruitful for me because it was easy to understand it and it will be easy to explain it to my students as well.
