This unit gave me a greater understanding of what the objectives and aims of this course are about. I also learned some important terminology and acronyms which will be useful for my further study. Overall I believe I learned what forms of environmment business English may be taught in. Also useful was learning the differences in pay and contact hours dependent upon which country I may choose to teach.I am fascinated by phonology, and can model in my classroom very clearly. I had not broken down the parts so far as knowing that each part had an identifier, and even a symbol for notation. I will be practicing this in order to give the more advanced students a mirror to check their mouth placement during phonetic studies. The notation will help when pronouncing new vocabulary or difficult code switches.
