Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit described some potential difficulties that might be faced in EFL classrooms. Some of the topics discussed were: first lessons, students at different English levels, reluctant speakers, large classrooms, use of native language, as well as others. It was helpful for the unit to go over possible solutions and workarounds to each difficulty so teachers can be prepared for whatever might arise.Phonology is the study of the physical properties of sounds. It deals with three main strands which are stress, intonation and rhythm. When it studies the smallest unit of sound - phoneme.Phonemic symbols generally falls into two categories which are consonants and vowels . Consonantscan be rergouped by manner of articulation and place of articulation. Intonation indicates the puopose of the speaker.
