Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit explains the various types of material that can be used in lessons. It shows how to evaluate and adapt course books in relation to the needs of the students. It compares authentic and creative materials,gives examples of role play cards, flash cards and other creative activities. I have learnt how to use these effectively and how to discern what to use in a given situation.This unit is about pronunciation and phonology. When I saw the title of the unit it thought ooh no, but everything was clearly explained. Better than my English teachers did at school. Now at least it's clear for me how to teach this to students. Though it was not always easy to read those scientific names. I think honestly when teaching this to students, it's better to use visuals.
