Assessments come in a variety of forms and are used for several reasons. Notably, assessments are generally used for informing students and teachers how much is being processed by the student and what, if anything, needs to be altered by the teacher's approach to the curriculum. While assessments can be paper and pencil, it is also important to realize that formative assessments can also help monitor progress.This unit gave several ideas on how to help students understand tenses. It is a difficult challenge to help someone understand the proper use of the tenses. The activities suggested in this unit should greatly help the students to practice the tenses while allowing them to have some fun as well. I especially liked the activity where the students change things in the room and one student has to guess the changes.
